What is Picture My Baby?
'Picture My Baby' is a bespoke portrait service, designed to offer a more convenient approach to photographing your family. No more packing baby up into the car, driving to a hot studio and expecting your offspring to smile on demand. I will come to your home, and work with you and your family, in your relaxed and familiar environment. The results are photos which capture the true personality of your baby or child and best of all, you don't even have to leave the house! Of course, if you wish to make use of the garden, the local park or woods, that option is always available.
What happens at a photo session?
Simply select one of three basic price packages, and then you are free to pick and mix any extra components. Each package comes with an optional pre-shoot consultation at your home which will give us an opportunity to discuss any special requirements, and to get to know one another. On the day, we'll start with a chat to get everyone relaxed and for babies and children used to me, we'll play for a while and then when we're friends, the shoot will begin.
How long is a photo session?
Photo sessions last on average around two hours (depending on tempers, tears, sleeps and tantrums) but can be longer or shorter depending on the circumstances of the day. Photographs will generally be observational rather than posed, but as each and every subject is different, each and every photo session is different.
When can I see the photos?
Within seven days of the photo session you will receive an email with a link to view your prints in the private online gallery. From here you can select your free inclusive prints or book images. You are under no obligation to purchase anything further, but a range of print sizes, photobooks, canvases and frames are also available. These make great mementos to hang on the wall or gifts for friends and relatives.
